If you have lost your green card, you should take the following steps as soon as possible:

  1. Apply for a replacement green card: You can do this by submitting Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). You will need to provide evidence of your identity and pay a fee for the application.

  2. Gather necessary documents: To replace your green card, you will need to provide proof of your identity, evidence of your immigration status, and any other documents required by USCIS.

  3. Attend an interview: Depending on the circumstances, USCIS may require you to attend an in-person interview to verify your identity and immigration status.

  4. Wait for your new green card: USCIS will process your application and send you a new green card once it is approved.

It's important to apply for a replacement green card as soon as possible because it serves as proof of your legal status and identity in the United States.
